John Tan

Our lead jeweler, John Tan, is GIA certified and deeply trusted by the Louisville community. John's story is one of hard work, honesty, and passion. Born in the Philippines, he and his family moved into the states when he was 3 years old.

His extended family owned and operated jewelry stores in the Philippines, traveling back and forth from the States, working in these stores, he developed his passion for the art. Somewhere he coined the phrase, "Jewelry never lies," a motto that defines his business.

Documentary Special

In the early 2000's our television ads offering to buy unwanted jewelry became very popular in the community. These ads and our store are mentioned several times in the book A Dark Room in Glitter Ball City. Filming is already underway to showcase our store and our connection to this wonderful city, and the "Dark Room."
